How The Internship Works
The TIMS internship is a merit-based, structured programme. Only students who meet all requirements are eligible. Here's everything you need to know.
Mandatory Internship
An internship component is a compulsory part of the eligible student's programme completion. It is not optional — you must participate to earn the final certificate.
85% Attendance Required
A minimum of 85% attendance throughout the entire course is required. Students who fall below this threshold will not be eligible for the internship or the final certificate.
Compulsory Tests
All module-end and in-class tests are compulsory. Absence from a test without valid, prior-approved reason may affect your eligibility.
Performance Points System
Points are earned throughout the course based on test scores, attendance, class participation and assignment completion. These points determine internship eligibility.
Internship Eligibility
Only students who have met the attendance threshold, cleared all compulsory tests, and accumulated the required performance points will be considered eligible for the internship placement.
Final Certificate
The official TIMS Institute Certificate is awarded to students who complete the course, fulfil the internship (where applicable) and pass all required assessments.
